Greetings from Winnipeg!

Greetings from Lakewood School in Winnipeg, Manitoba!

Hello to our new friends in the North! We are very excited to learn about your community, and we hope that we can teach you a bit too! We thought the best way to learn about a community that we have never been to is from someone who actually lives there!

Mrs. McMillans Dad works for Arctic Coop, and visited your community a few months ago. He visited your school, and spoke to your principal in the hopes that we could get into contact!

Here is a little bit of information about us!!
We are in Grade 4 and 5 at Lakewood School. There are 26 students in our class. Mrs. McMillan is our teacher, and we have two EA`s (educational assistants) in our classroom- Mrs. Sommerfield and Mrs. Muller. There are approx 230 students in our school, which is Kindergarten to Grade 5. This is the front of our school and where we are located in Winnipeg.

We are very excited to get to know you! Mrs. McMillan has put our letters to you in the mail, and we can`t wait to hear back from you!
